About our club - Club HP SoCal

Club HP SoCal provides opportunities to gather with the friends and co-workers you know or who left HP. A variety of social activities are scheduled throughout the year to appeal to the diverse nature of our group. ​We rely on our membership to guide our selection of social activities, so Join the Club and email us at ClubHPSoC[email protected]  to let us know what activities would interest you!
Regular activities of the club:
Annual Meeting:
Come meet the new officers for the year and hear about plans for the upcoming year. Although this is primarily a business meeting, you know us! You're sure to come across some yummy things to eat and a door prize or two.

Fall Picnic:
San Diego has the best weather, right?  This popular event features great food and a relaxed, casual atmosphere for catching up with old friends - or meeting new ones.

Holiday Party:
December brings out the holiday spirit in all of us, so join us for this fun and festive gathering!

OTHER HAPPENINGS:
  • The events committee organizes frequent local outings, from casual lunches to tours or activities. You may find them educational or just plain interesting. Come for the fun of it!

Board of Directors

The HP Retirees Club of Southern California is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of nine elected members, each of whom holds office for a period of two years. Elections are staggered such that five positions become available in even years and four become available in odd years. The combined Board and Committee meets monthly at the HP San Diego site, generally on the second Friday of the month.

​​Club HP SoCal was chartered in August 2000 (formerly HPRCSC) and currently includes about 216 members, who both worked with the San Diego Site or southern California Sales Organization or who worked at other HP locations and now live in the Southern California area.
